Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing FlavorTech.co. Because we provide digital software-as-a-service (SaaS) and instant cloud-based AI generation tools, we maintain a clear and transparent policy regarding cancellations, billing, and refunds to protect both our operational sustainability and your business investments.

By subscribing to our Digital Menu services or purchasing standalone AI Dish Photo credit packs, you explicitly agree to this Refund Policy.

1. Payment Processors & Merchant of Record

FlavorTech utilizes secure, compliant, and globally recognized third-party platforms to process all financial transactions:

  • Paddle.com: Currently, Paddle acts as our primary Merchant of Record. For transactions processed through Paddle, they are the legal merchant of record responsible for billing, compliance, and handling inquiries or disputes in cooperation with FlavorTech.
  • Stripe: Transactions may also be handled directly via our Stripe payment gateway integration. Stripe transactions are billed directly by FlavorTech.
  • Transitions: Please note that FlavorTech is currently transitioning some of its payment flows from Paddle to Stripe. Regardless of which processor was active at the time of your transaction, the refund eligibility criteria outlined below apply.

2. Digital Menu Subscriptions

We offer a 7-day free trial for our paid plans (Multi-PDF, Digital, Integrated) so you can thoroughly evaluate our platform's capabilities before committing financially.

  • Monthly Subscriptions: All monthly subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Once a monthly billing cycle has begun, the subscription fee for that month is non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent billing for subsequent months.
  • Annual Subscriptions: Annual plans are billed upfront with a 20% discount. Refunds for annual plans are generally not granted. However, if you request cancellation within fourteen (14) days of your initial annual activation, you may be eligible for a partial refund subject to administrative fees and any a ctive consumption.
  • Cancellations: You can cancel your subscription directly from your administrative dashboard or by writing to us. Your service will remain active until the end of the current paid billing period.

3. AI Dish Photo Credits (Booster Packs)

Our AI Dish Photo generation tool relies on immediate computing power allocated at the moment of creation. Therefore:

  • Non-Refundable Booster Purchases: Standalone credit packages ("Booster Packs") purchased separately are completely non-refundable. Since booster credits do not expire and remain active in your account indefinitely, they cannot be exchanged back for monetary refunds.
  • Failed Generations: If an AI image generation completely fails due to a system error on our platform, the spent credit will be automatically or manually returned to your account balance. This does not entitle the user to a cash refund, but rather a credit replacement.
  • Aesthetic Differences: Refunds will not be granted based on personal preferences or subjective evaluations of the AI's stylistic choices. We provide trial credits to test the generator's aesthetics before purchase.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

We aim to be fair and reasonable with every partner. We may issue refunds or account credits under the following limited circumstances:

  • Proven duplicate billing or system-side processing errors.
  • Unresolved platform downtime of our core Digital Menu system exceeding forty-eight (48) consecutive hours.
  • Accidental renewal of a subscription, provided a refund request is submitted within forty-eight (48) hours of the renewal transaction and absolutely zero platform usage (including AI generations) has occurred in that new period.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request an audit of your billing or apply for a refund, you must contact us directly. Please do not initiate disputes through your bank or payment processor first, as this delays the process and can negatively affect your merchant account standing.

To submit a request:

  1. Email us at billing@flavortech.co with the subject line: "Refund Request - [Your Restaurant Name]".
  2. Provide your account registration email and the official transaction receipt (either from Paddle or Stripe).
  3. Clearly detail the reason for your refund request.

Our billing department will review your request within three to five (3-5) business days. Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used during the purchase.
